This X-Ray Photography was created by New Yorker, David Maisel. This set of work is entitled “History’s Shadow”, where Maisel re-photographs x-rays from museum archives that depict artifacts from antiquity. He then scans and digitally manipulates selected source material:

Have you ever wondered how you would go about getting a likeness of your own head on a Lego or Megablocks figure? Actually, not me at least, until I saw these wonderful creations by British company Funky3Dfaces, who scan photos of your very own cranium and then use 3D printers to construct a custom Lego head!

These absolutely stunning photographs were produced by Wes Naman. He originally attained the idea of this concept after watching his assistant, Joy Godfrey, apply a single piece of scotch tape to her face! My favourite photographs are the man with the gun and the wrestler (I think?). Check out 10 of his images here below…
Photographer Alejandro Cartagena stood looking down from a bridge in northern Mexico to take these unique images. He managed to capture snapshots of the daily commutes of Mexican workers as they lay down and sit in pickup trucks. I think these images are really quite special, as it’s not something that most people see. There’s so much information that can be gleaned just from these non-standard views of ‘ordinary’ hard-working people.

Unique Creative Poster Designs for a 401K plan company named Fidelity.
The poster series was designed by the Miami Ad School, Miami, USA. I think they’re quite original, and display simple, effective typography with quirky imagery. My favourite is the poster of the man with the large glasses “Envision a big future while you can”. Other strap-lines include “Have Things That Grow with a Purpose”. Enjoy…
