Bike Like a New Yorker Poster Design. I’ve been the NYC a couple of times, and I must say that I’d probably rather be on a bike than navigate the busy streets in a car! Excellent poster design concept from BIKENYC. Via.
I just found this fascinating piece of advertising today by BrandStamp. They go on to explain: “Brand Stamp Advertising Agency & Social Media Management we know how to cook social media”. Well, they sure do know how to catch peoples’ attention – I’ll give them that. Great work.
I found these Victorian graphic design posters and leaflet collection via Attitude Design. I think it’s great to look back upon design ‘before Photoshop‘ and see how different and varied advertising was back then.
These interesting designs were created by Brazilian graphic designer, Paula Rúpolo. Apparently, Paula was working on another logo design when she began to research into various brands and their color schemes. As part of this research, she swapped-out the colors of prominate and famous brand logos, including comparisons form the likes of Playmobil and LEGO (see further down this post).
Have you been driving down the highway before and seen a clever truck ad plastered over a lorry or van? I haven’t as yet, but many people have and have taken some great photos of them. From Wrigley’s Chewing Gum to Massive Mars Bars and even a giant cigarette (oh yes), these snaps below should drive your imagination (sorry, couldn’t resist to pun)…

These intricate sculptures shown on this set of museum ads are simply superb. They were created for the Cité Museum in Paris, France. I’m not sure whether they are actual carving or 3D renderings, but the whole look and concept is great…

I’m super excited to show you guys my new creative business cards made out of crayon, for when I really want to make an impression! I love thinking of fun business card ideas – in 2011 was the start of my business coins, and in 2013 I created out of the box business cards. I think these ones are my favourite – they really capture my passion to be creative in professional ways.

I love this set of poster ads for “Dog Chow” pet food. The strapline ‘Stop treating your dog like a trashcan’ explains this series of bin/dog hybrids rather well, don’t you think?

The way that the dogs’ eyes are fixed upon their owners dumping leftovers into their mouths is a nice touch. However, didn’t anyone doing market research tell ‘Dog Chow’ that dogs actually like leftover food? See the rest of the images below…

I thought this project by Harc Lee was a pretty nice idea and concept, and I could just imagine these being on the supermarket shelves. I have no idea how the bar-code would work, though…
Avengers Assemble! This advertising project is called “A Superhero in Every Aisle” created bu talented designer, Guy Seese. They were produced as part of a campaign for the US store, Target. I love the way that you can see more detail and different toys every time you see the designs. My favourite is the Iron Man head which is made with pencils and Lego, amongst chocolate bars. I also think the green Hulk hands are pretty neat, too…
