Take just one look at these wonderful ceramic creations, and you may think that they’re inflatable. In fact, these pieces of art are just made to look this way. It’s part of the allure that this selection of work, by sculptor and creative Brett Kern, display.

All the objects displayed here are made from — wait for it — clay. I think Brett has done a wonderful job, and they look nearly identical to the objects that they represent. I’m impressed—what about you? Check out the rest of the gallery…

The Comparison of Science Fiction Spaceships

Science Fiction Spaceships image

This intriguing image [above] was created by Deviant Art user, DirkLoechel. It shows many science fiction spaceships next to each other, while keeping their original size-ratio and form factors. As a Star Trek fan (no, it’s no secret, hehe!) I found it interesting how small the Enterprise was compared to all the other space craft. You can see it on the mid-right of the image, which I have enlarged below:

View From Space

View From Space. This stunning popular new movie shows a timelapse sequence of the view of Earth from a space station. Michael König explains: “Time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of expeditions | 28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October, 2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km.”

See this must-see video after the screenshots. Enjoy!
