This is the amazing work of Paris-based artist, EVOL. His works include a form of ‘urban-sculpting’, whereby urban and natural landscapes or settings are used to create surreal words. In the “Rural City” (above and below), housing blocks have been ‘dug into the ground’. Initially, I though this was photoshop work, where multiple images are spliced together, but this isn’t the case:
Logan Hicks is a photographer and artist based in New York. His stunning designs also includes murals and artwork. The image above is one of my favourite pieces, as the HDR effect on the train has been produced with amazing effect.

I love these images I just discovered over at PetaPixel.com of the first ever human to be photographed (in the images shown). Apparently, this photo taken in the Boulevard du Temple in Paris was captured in 1838 by a man named Louis Daguerre. Read more here.
