An active member of both Filter Forge and Xara communities Frances Proctor makes interesting, simple and useful tutorials about these two programs. In the series of the tutorials you are going to know how Xara’s world of vector illustration can be combined with Filter Forge as a plugin. (By the way, it can be a standalone, too.)

The first tutorial is an introduction: you’ll learn how to create a plastic type text effect and a diamond gem stone — and meanwhile some of the basics of both programs.
